Safety
Last updated: January 1, 2024
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL 911 OR GO TO YOUR NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY. LONGEVITYFIX SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SITUATIONS.
At LongevityFix, patient safety is our highest priority. We are committed to providing telehealth services that are medically appropriate, legally compliant, and fully transparent. This page outlines our safety standards, the safeguards we have in place, and the information you need to use our services responsibly.
I. Licensed Medical Oversight
All medical evaluations, consultations, and prescribing decisions on the LongevityFix platform are performed exclusively by independent, licensed medical professionals. No prescription medication is prescribed or dispensed without a prior good-faith medical evaluation by a qualified provider. LongevityFix does not employ physicians directly — all providers are licensed practitioners who operate independently and are solely responsible for their clinical decisions.
LongevityFix complies with all applicable federal and state telemedicine laws and regulations, including requirements related to the establishment of a valid provider-patient relationship prior to prescribing.
II. Medication Safety
All prescription medications dispensed through LongevityFix are compounded and shipped by independent, licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. These pharmacies operate in compliance with applicable state pharmacy board regulations and USP standards.
IMPORTANT: Compounded drug products are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not evaluate compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Patients are strongly encouraged to discuss the risks, benefits, and appropriateness of any compounded medication with their healthcare provider before use.
LongevityFix does not manufacture, formulate, or dispense medications. We make no representations or warranties regarding the safety, efficacy, or outcomes of medications obtained through third-party pharmacies. Any adverse reactions, side effects, or concerns about your medication should be reported immediately to your prescribing provider and/or the dispensing pharmacy.
III. Who Should Not Use Our Services
LongevityFix services may not be appropriate for all individuals. You should not use our services if:
- You are under 18 years of age.
- You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding (unless specifically cleared by a physician).
- You have a history of certain medical conditions that may contraindicate the medications offered — your provider will assess this during your evaluation.
- You are seeking treatment for an acute or emergency medical condition.
- You are located in a state or territory where LongevityFix services are not available.
Our licensed providers will review your submitted health information and make an independent clinical determination about whether our services are appropriate for you. You may be referred to in-person care if a telehealth consultation is deemed insufficient.
IV. Reporting Adverse Events
If you experience any adverse reactions, unexpected side effects, or medical concerns after receiving a prescription through LongevityFix, you should:
- In an emergency: Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
- For non-emergency concerns: Contact your prescribing provider directly through your LongevityFix patient portal.
- To report medication issues: Contact the dispensing pharmacy directly. Their contact information will be included with your shipment.
- To report to LongevityFix: Email us at support@longevityfix.com.
V. Legal Compliance and Licensure
LongevityFix operates in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws governing telehealth, prescription medications, and healthcare services. Our affiliated medical providers hold valid, active licenses in the jurisdictions where they practice and prescribe. Our partner pharmacies are licensed by the appropriate state pharmacy boards.
LongevityFix does not facilitate the prescribing or dispensing of medications that lack the necessary regulatory authorization. All medications offered through our platform are prescribed for legitimate medical purposes following a clinical evaluation.
VI. Service Availability by State
LongevityFix telehealth services are currently available to patients located in eligible U.S. states. Services and specific medications may not be available in all jurisdictions due to varying state laws and regulations. You will be informed at the time of your consultation if a particular service or medication is unavailable in your state.
VII. Privacy and Data Security
All personal health information collected through LongevityFix is protected in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state privacy laws. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for all data transmission. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
